It's a shame for B-to-B vendors that Linkedin, which claims 26MM members who appear to be adults with jobs, and maybe even recommenders and decision makers "cannot, at present target any members outside the U.S., but may do so at a later date"

I'd be delighted to broker their Canadian lists on any viable basis. Facebook came up with 1050 Canadian, Anglophone, College Grads, with job titles including President/CEO, Owner and Manager. I'm going to test starting tomorrow, and I have a good feeling about broadening the profile.

I've only started seriously looking at Web 2.0 venues since New Year's for new Public Relations clients; and I feel they may have
far greater social network market niches to exploit. First to market, with the lowest CPM, targeted, fresh, untapped prospects has always been the name of the game in my other area of expertise, IT products and services marketing.

Very interesting article.Frankly, I would not have guessed the statistics to be that high. Never the less, your point is valid and we will be seeing growing participation into the imaginable future.

Any one wishing to see a small step into this future should visit the web site.
